Site Improvements (Summer 2024)

Construction is nearly complete for Seawall Development‘s The Service Center, an exciting mixed-use infill development project in Remington. Earlier this month celebrated the official “use and occupancy” for the residential apartments, and several new tenants have already moved into the building! Located just down the street from the Ottobar, this 6-story building will ultimately provide 64 apartment units and 25,000 sf office and retail space to be anchored by Wide Angle Youth Media. The Service Center seeks to be a hub for civil neighborhood engagement and offers lease incentives for service-minded professionals and residents.
While construction is wrapping up, the majority of the exterior site improvements have been completed. Check out the updated photos of the site and landscaping elements and keep an eye out for a future post about this building’s green roof!
CityScape led the site design for the project, and collaborated closely with the design team including JP2 Architects and Floura Teeter Landscape Architects. In addition to coordinating utility and parking requirements, we designed a second story green roof that will provide stormwater management and added green-space to the project.
